Another FD guy

Hi all....
I'm a 13 year professional firefighter / paramedic with a large Southern California FD.  I had already read Extreme Ownership when I first heard Jocko first on Joe Rogans podcast. So I guess I've been a believer for a while.
About 4 years ago I finally started training BJJ.  So basically I know just enough Jiu Jitsu to know for sure that I know nothing. But I learn more everyday.

Welcome to the boards. Lots of First responders on the boards. If you grew up in So Cal, you don't surf, If you moved there after high school than you do. Is that right?
