Hi everyone,

I've been listening on and off to the podcast since it came out and have found a lot of value in it. I don't have any military experience, but have built my career in the non-profit world running safety and training programs for conservation corps - trail work, forest thinning, environmental restoration, etc. Couldn't say I've fully realized any of the ideals of extreme ownership, but it's a good backdrop to evaluate myself against and identify areas for improvement.

Extreme Ownership is a little more difficult to apply to large scale, transient organizations with minimal corporate structure. If you get emails from the CEO and the temp hires, it is a little challenging taking ownership of both. I would focus more on skills like detach, cover and move, and simple.
