I am a United States Marine Corps veteran of Khe Sanh in 1968. I have written a book, "Every Mother's Son - 77 Days at Khe Sanh." I wrote the book for my comrades, as we are all getting older and dying off, so I thought it best to put our stories on paper for our children and grand children, as "our" stories are really their stories that they can keep and pass on to future generations.

Thank you for sharing your stories. I was mainly raised by my grandparents and spent a lot of time around my grandpa's ww2 vet friends (he was 17 when the war ended to didn't end up serving) and they had a big impact on who I am and the choices I made. Too many of them are gone now and their stories were never written down, so huge thanks again for sharing and in doing so encouraging others to share their stories.
