The shit those Vietnam era SF guys did was insane. Love hearing their stories.
Also really liked the bit where Jocko and Echo were talking about women training with men and how it's important. I see a lot of women who only train to fight with women and a lot of what I see them doing wouldn't really work against a physically larger opponent. My wife grew up in rural WI where there just weren't enough women's martial arts classes so she trained mainly with men, and rural WI men (who are not small) and it did her a lot of good, she knows what to do against someone much bigger than her, and it really makes me happier to know that she's capable of that.
