I have a line of a podcast/book in my head and can’t find the episode. Something like “weeks on the front line and finally get some R&R - you hear your boys are in trouble and what do they do? THEY PICK UP THE PACE!”
I feel it was an episode on Vietnam. Thanks for any supportch!!

That is quite the needle in the haystack. I will do some searching.
Any other context? Even if it is only your feelings of what was being said. And maybe beginning, middle, end of the podcast.

Podcast #106 part 2 of we were soldiers once... and young
Around 1 hr into that episode. One of the more powerful moments of the podcast.

That is one that is insane to think about being a grizzled 21 year old. Especially as a 30 year old parent.

It's a strange one. I moved to where I am at 19, joined up at 20, most of the guys I served with were younger. In the country I grew up in no one joins the military. So I went back for a visit a few years later and everyone I grew up with kind of just went the College->Career->Death route, and I just found it extremely hard to really speak to them, there wasn't really any common ground.
