this weeks podcast jocko goes, once again to "the dark place" He reads from one soldiers war a gripping tale told by a Russian soldier who fought in the Chechen wars of the mid-late 90's. It starts with a gritty first-person narrative explaining both friends and foes. It then delves into the return home and the re-adjustment to post-war life. It's not a pretty picture and it's not written by a happy man. Jocko brings this tortured soul's demons into the light. The questions-from-listeners portion covers: mobility work outs, when a SEAL would actually use Jiu Jitsu, using rehearsals as a training/prep tool, being prepared for BUDS, calisthenics vs weight lifting (Echo Charles shows off his knowledge about types of exercise and their real world affects), and a nice wrap up about facing your demons.

This was a "head-shaking" podcast. Majority of population; especially in America, refuse to think of an environment such as this. The warriors singing on the train was not shocking, but very intense.
Thank you, Jocko and Echo
