Greetings Everyone,
Nice to meet everyone here on this forum. I like meeting people that want to improve themselves. I really enjoy watching the Jocko podcasts and my two kids like watching the “Ask Uncle Jake” videos. Since I have done 20 years of honorable USN service, I am [usually] pretty good about staying on “the path.” But admittedly, I do get a little frustrated adjusting to civilian life. It seems like there is no sense of urgency among some [not all] civilians. Most military folks I know take their jobs seriously, show up on time, and know better than to complain about the small stuff.
So I am here to share and partake of any and all good advice that I might find here.
"There is nothing so likely to produce peace as to be well prepared to meet an enemy."
- General George Washington
Respectfully,
Joe

Hi Rescue. Thank you for your service. I think the military gives you a great sense of teamwork, commitment and purpose that other jobs often lack. No wonder people feel a bit lost when they move into civvy street.

Welcome to the boards. A big part of life is trying to get stuff done with the team mates you have lying around. Lets us know the techniques you come up with.
