Hello.
Background: 8 years of military service, 1st Cavalry Division. Joined the Army in 2005 as a 19D Cavalry Scout (H Troop 6/15 Cav, KNOX!). Had by far the most unorthodox career. But enjoyed every minute of it. 30 months of Deployed time to Operation Iraqi Freedom. 2006-2008 and 2009-2010
Got out in 2013, moved to Colorado and started on the "transition pathway". Lived there for a Stateside deployment (15 months)and my wife got an opportunity to run her own branch of a highly successful Postural Alignment (EGOSCUE) company. Unfortunately, I got wrapped up in a deep level of depression (non-suicidal), and the VA clinic and Behavioral Health that was....dismal at best.
I moved to California (Northern, 2+ hrs North of San Fran) where my wife is from, and have rebounded immensely. I actually, am working to get back to the physical strength and stature of my deployment self. I was physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually prepared to handle the task at hand, while planning around the endless amount of chaos of combat.
I look forward to developing some network connections that can be used as resources. I hope all is the same
