Hey guys, Ive been a listener from the beginning and love what guys are doing. Jocko speaks loadest to me when I'm thinking about my work in the fire service. I'm a volunteer firefighter with a fairly young fire dept. The department only started 15 years ago and I have been a part of it for 7 years. I think we probably have the usual leadership challenges that most volunteers organizations have. Thought I would join up and keep learning from great leaders

Welcome to the board. Glad to see a "brother" firefighter take interest in leadership. The Fire Service is in desperate need of leaders to fill the ranks. Keep up the fight for POSITIVE change. Remember the fire service slogan: "Progressive change today, impeded by 200 years of tradition!" Be the progressive change that makes a difference.
-Ask questions
-Learn from your mistakes
-Always wear your PPE
-Watch your brothers back
