Jocko team!

I’m currently stationed on Pendleton with the I MEF Training cadre. I hosted a base wide Jiu Jitsu seminar on 30 Aug. The event was EPIC, and we had 350 people show. 90 of them were on the mat as participants. I brought a few cases of Jocko White Tea for the USO to distribute to the students. Because of this, the question of the day was “Is Jocko and Echo going to be here?” That’s when I thought, let’s invite em!

So here’s the official invite/attempt to contact. We would like to organize another Pendleton Jiu Jitsu Seminar and have Jocko, Dean, and Echo, or any combo of the above, attend as our VIP guest instructors. We provide the mats, logistics, marketing, Combat Camera/local media, booth for Jocko, and all you guys would need to do is show up. My guys will already be warmed up, stretched, and standing by to get after it! You pick the date and time.

I’ve read literally every piece of literature Jocko and Leif have produced as well as consume the podcast weekly. My wife isn’t a fan though...at all. It probably doesn’t help that she is woken by “Wake Up and Get After It” as Jocko counts down from 10 to get out of bed. It gets me goin.

Both eventually get to Jocko.  
He typically gets paid for stuff like that.  Or pairs it with things he gets paid for, like working with a business nearby.  It isn't on you to make that happen, just keep it in mind.

Thank you for the feedback and quick turnaround time. I completely understand the constant solicitation for Jocko’s time. I will draft 2 or 3 COA and fire it to both emails. Our unit pinched pennies, but there are cases where we’ve paid guests for their wisdom. Jason Redman recently came through in June, and I know for a fact he received compensation for his time as a guest speaker. Follow up to come. Thanks!
