One of the things I wish i did was to serve in the military. I am 40 and was wondering if i want to serve in the military, is it possible? I may be too old, so of that is case, how may I serve my country in a way that is benficial? I have worked and have lived a great life and have overcome many obstacles. But I do wish I was 18 again.

There was a limit in Air Force of 39. Navy was 36. Jocko explained the biggest problem with joining late is that you are too smart to blindly one they 29 year old drill sargent when he tells to go get properly wet and sandy.
There are other options that don't involve learning how to get shot at. There are military contractors, fire dept, police, EMT, and others.
Better define serve, what can better use your skills.
Other options: GORUCK event, charity work, new look, new gym.
