Hi All,
Just finished the Discipline Equals Freedom book and was hoping for some advice on the workouts themselves. I am just getting back into fitness so was going to start with the beginner series; hoping someone can give some advice on instructions and frequency of the workouts based on their success. For each day should I be doing the workout, the "pull day" for example, as many times I can in my alloyed workout time (usually 1 hour to 1 and a half hours) the workouts. IE. doing the workout, gut and metacon as one set and doing that as many times i can in my time. Also was curious how long most give themselves before they graduate to the next series or the next stage (beginner to intermediate). Appreciate any advice people have and thanks in advance.

When I started his beginner series I was already working out 3 times a week. Starting the everyday routine caused soreness and drained the body more than it was used to. Maybe after a month I was used to the new pace and ready to step it up. I've since moved onto a more job specific routine because of an upcoming testing event. I'm not sure on the intermediate but the beginner series seems to have been a good balance of difficulty for beginners and stressing the body to adapt. Listen to your body, you will know when your ready to crank it up.

Ok, so it's a split-programme is it? I just got back from the gym after trying Jocko's workout. I thought you had to do all parts (pull, push, lift, squat) on one day. It took me over two hours and I'm now completely f***ed.
