Hi there,
I'm from Sydney, Australia. I've only just learned about the Jocko through the book Extreme Ownership. I have started following the team; Leif Babin and Echo Charles. I am loving the Podcasts. I'm a bit behind on those! I'm up to number 20! so I still have a fair way to go. I love the book reviews and have bought a few. Great lessons in the podcasts - would love to see a compilation CD made with all the great topics that you guys have covered in them. As I would play these in the car rather than listening to the mind-numbing crap that's on the radio! I have bought 5 - Extreme Ownership books and have given them to people that I think they can learn and apply the principles to better themselves.
I'm 51 years old and started BJJ - getting my arse kicked all the time but that's "GOOD", better to be tapped out in class then on the streets right!!
I am grateful that I have found you guys and I believe the lessons that you preach have put me on the path to become a better person.
I've started back into training in the gym, getting out of bed early as I have Jocko's "WAKE UP" as my alarm sound! Training and getting stronger and eating the right foods, staying away from the daily "insurgents" that tempt you with the sugary foods and the junk food that is readily available - making better choices.
Bought the Warrior Kid for my kids and they read it and listen to it in the car - they also just started in martial arts.
Thank you for doing what you guys are doing making us wake up to lead better lives.
Looking forward to meeting you guys in Sydney sometime soon - hopefully 2019.
Cheers,
J.

Welcome to the boards. Not to spoil upcoming podcasts, but look for David Burke and JP Dinnell. They are the 2 oldest additions to the presenters of Echelon Front. There are 2 new team members who were on stage at the most recent muster. They haven't made an appearance on the podcast, yet. David Berke Twitter JP Dinnell Twitter
