Hey Everyone, 32 yr old father of 2, husband, teacher, and coach. I’ve been looking to make a change because I’m not really happy where I’m at. A buddy suggested the Podcast about a month ago and I’m hooked! Started getting up to workout and feel a lot better about things. I’ve been battling health anxiety the past 2years after a combination of one of my children being diagnosed with a rare disease, and a friend my age who died suddenly. It’s been rocky and has definitely strained my relationship with family; panic attacks, ER trips where I think I’m dying, bad anxiety. It’s a daily battle. Even the first few workouts were rough because of me over-thinking my heart rate and breathing. But like I said, things are improving and this Podcast and the “D=Freedom Field Manual” kicks ass! Just wanted to introduce myself to the group, you’re all inspiring with what I’ve read, so I decided to post almost 3 weeks after registering. -CMI

Welcome to the boards, Chris. Panic attacks are wild. Have you talked with a therapist or doctor about them? Then the rare disease, is a soul crusher. I would find a few resources to learn more about the disease and being a parent with a child with a condition. Let me know if you need some help finding those things and what specifically you would want. Direct messages are fine. Keep getting after it.

Started a Muy Thai class with a buddy from HS that’s been doing it for about 4 years. It’s hard as hell, but definitely awesome!
