I have been in the fire service for 22 years and now I am the head of my department.I have no clue if you "Jocko" will read this but thank you for what you are doing! You and your book have opened my eyes on so many levels. I notice that not many of my brothers and sisters have posted on this board, but if your reading this - no matter where you are sitting in the truck or wearing a white shirt this is the best leadership advise you can get. I have spent thousands on books and classes. Take extreme ownership of yourself and your job, the people we protect demand it! Take care of yourself, take care of your crew and love the job. LFD201
