Jocko, I love your podcast. Stuka Pilot has long been a primary source of inspiration for me in facing life's challenges. Rudel is Germany's most decorated combat pilot from WW2. Though Rudel fought for a shameful government and his side lost, his spirit and perseverance are amazing. As he wrote, "only he is lost who gives himself up for lost". As someone hit by major disability at age 21, Rudel's will as he continued to fly after a leg amputation has pushed me to push myself.
Sometimes battles are lost in a similar spirit to how they are won. I'd love to hear Jocko's take on this autobiography.
