Jiu Jitsu player: France -> US -> Brazil and soon Vietnam

Hi,
My name is Daniel, and I'm glad there are still discussion boards in 2017 ! I am not very old (26), but I'd rather be in a discussion board than talking in reddit !
I got to know Jocko two years ago, by listening to his interview with Tim Ferriss. I'm glad the podcast has become successful and that things seem to go well for Jocko and his team.
I started Jiu Jitsu in 2010, and recently got my purple belt. My first instructor was Hakim Ait Ouaret, a black belt from De la Riva. When I moved to the US two years ago, I trained with Leopoldo Serao, in Mountain View (CA). Last year, I moved to Rio de Janeiro, and I've been training at the mythical Carlson Gracie Academy. I'm moving to Vietnam next week and as any good Jiu Jitsu player, I already know where I'll train (Saigon Luta Livre).
For work, I'm a software engineer, and soon a programming coach (I'm moving to Vietnam to open a programming school).
I'm glad to join this community, I wish there were more people getting after it in my entourage (I do have some friends that get after it, though). If I can help somebody in any way, I'll gladly do it !
