I just started BJJ and while I'm rolling I've noticed my core strength needs work. Does anyone have any targeted core strength workout suggestions that will help in BJJ?

I assume there are some warm ups that you could do. Shrimping. Oompah. shooting. As far as core exercise, I would say flutter kicks, planks, side planks, prone back bend or superman. Flutter kicks (4 count) 25 reps for 3 sets. Plank 60 second hold for 3 sets Side planks 45 second hold for 3 sets Prone back bend 5 to 10 seconds 3 times for 3 sets. To actually build strength, even core strength, I would try barbell dead lift. Warning: YouTube rabbit hole possible. Starting Strength
