Good morning to the nation of Jocko and its citizen.

My name is Mattias Malm, I'm 29 years old, and I'm from Sweden, Europe.

I used to serve in the swedish army in an infantry unit as a machinegunner. Never served in a special operations capacity, unfortunately. Today I'm out of the military, spending time with my wife and our two daughters. The military-isch lifestyle never left me though, I work out, I run, I swim, basically staying in shape.

I was aware of Jocko before the Jocko-podcast started, I saw a video of his speech at the memorial service of Chris Kyle and got a little curious to his story. Needles to say, I was excited to see he was doing the Tim Ferris podcast and then Joe Rogan. So I've been along from the start of Jocko-podcast.

I'm always trying to be stronger, faster and better. So Jocko has naturally become a mentor to me through the podcast and the book he wrote with Leif Babin, Extreme Ownership.

Enough about me, I'm happy to be here, and very grateful to Jocko and Echo for taking the time to do this FOR US!

As jocko called the "AW's", What were you guys carrying for machine guns? In the us military, the biggest guy in the unit is always teased that he will be the guy carrying the Automatic Weapons, and the 1000's of rounds of ammo.
