I've recently started bjj and it seems like every time I go and roll I aquire some new injury. Do you have any suggestions on how to mitigate injury? Thank you for your time

Casualty of improving. Do some connective tissue developement. Try Yoga or Gymnastic movements. Maybe DDP yoga, or Gymanastic bodies.
Also ask your instructor. Maybe do the "warm up" on off days too. Great to hear you a becoming a Jiu Jitsu Player.

DDP Yoga helped me mitigate some of the injuries. Now, since the majority of my students are bigger than me... I have started getting more workouts in ie kettle bells metcons etc. It has helped greatly in the injury section, minus my neck which is 25 years of wear and tear
