I am curious what mobility workouts you guys have been doing. I know Jocko has mentioned mobility WODs, but I'm patiently waiting for his workout book to come out to learn about his routine.
I'm fairly flexible-- in jiujitsu I play a lot of rubber guard. With that being said, I have a flexible hips; however, my upper body is tighter than what is optimal.
As far as my routine goes, I stretch while lounging. If I'm watching the Jocko podcast, I'll go through some rubber guard movements by myself. I have previously practiced yoga and so I do some poses in the mornings to wake up (it especially helps wake up my mind at 0445).
I suppose I'm just looking for ideas!
So, what are you guys doing?

I had some issues with my sciatica. I have a bunch of hip work I did. yoga squats, Prying and a bunch of pelvic twisting exercise. They look like almost nothing but they keep me from getting balled up on long drives. I have recently been working on some other mobility work for shoulders. After getting the hips moving, I started having trouble with my overhead squats. So not I am working on shoulder mobility. Holding a Broom stick and getting it behind my head. A lot is finding areas of weakness or concern, getting some coaching on what is wrong, getting some ways of stretching/exercising it, then learning where your specific weakness is. It is a bunch of "Physician heal thy self". Try using a tennis ball to roll your hamstrings and the lobes of the quads around the knee. Also roll your scapulars. Then go look for Kelly Starrett.

Iroc - I know I have tight and inflexible shoulders. I do shoulder circles (small and large) as a warm up, but I've never been capable of doing the behind-the-back prayer stretch.
MyNewUnit - I'm going to start doing more overhead squats! I appreciate the advice and resource!
I tried the Agile 8 this morning as a routine. It felt like a great warmup for my 0500 workout. It has some foam rolling and lower-body mobility, but I feel like some light overhead squats will help open up my shoulders.
