This was a great book to chose and a great podcast. My own father served in the Korean war and I believe as you point out, not enough recognition is made of the sacrifice these men made so soon after the close of the 2nd world war.
The soldiers, sailors and airmen who served in Korea came up against some pretty grueling conditions, most who were involved and survived, bore scars from that burdened them for the rest of their lives.
I wanted to ask Jocko and Echo if they have ever come up against a situation that has totally defeated them mentally and/or physically, if so - how did you cope with it then, and how do you feel about it today?
I really love your podcast guys and look forward to it every week. Thanks.
