Although I didn't listen to much of Black Flag or Rollins Band, I did listen to his "Spoken Word". Here is one of my favorites...and it's very fitting for the weather this year! Here is El Nino from the album Think Tank.

I'm a Rollins music fan way back to black flag and spoken word back to "get in the van"
For the uninitiated I think a good starting point is slightly more recent.

He just did a podcast on Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank, episode 277... Rollins is as cool as he always was even in his 50's.

I agree completely! Henry and Jocko could have an amazing discussion on discipline and music.

Rollins was my guide through adolescence. I love the Rollins Band and listen to his Spoken Word. All of it. Great stuff.
