The last 5 minutes of Jocko Podcast #42, Jocko asked the troopers of all stripe to remember Mikey Monsoor on the day of the Saint Michael, the warrior.  Let the fellow Troopers know how you spent your Michaelmas Day.

Apparently, it is typically celebrated by a feast of goose.  I think we can top that. Like Andrew Paul said, "think of someone else".

I wrote a memorial poem.
Hugged my son.
Bought a stranger's coffee and posted the "why" on our town forum.
Invited a veteran friend over for dinner and stayed up far too late talking.
And I remembered what an honor it is to know his name.
