As I have no twitter or facebook account I post my questions here.

I have three questions about discipline vs perversed leadership.


Questions to Jocko & Echo and to all other board members:

1. How can a warrior (who once felt a strong desire to serve his land) handle a situation to live in a insane society which don't
want to be defended (and has obviously decided to die)?

2. How to handle from a warriors perspective betrayal of the political, justical and even military Leadership where confidence in any of them is completely whiped
out and lost? Is it inevitable that this ends to be like a ronin?



Background of questions:

I'm german and well, I think you realize what's happening here at the moment in Germany/EU.
(From my point of view the core problem goes much much deeper and the momentary situation is just a symptom.)

I completely agree with your opinion about discipline as a core element to success.

Although discipline itself never should be given up (which is self-discipline), there is obviously a point, where
discipline by itself is self-destroying. One can't handle situations like this just with discipline, because it turns out, the more disciplined you are
the more demage you are helping to generate.

From my point of view it all comes down to the question about perversed leadership vs discipline which is very important but hard to solve.
But a true warrior (not nescessarily only a military one) have to find answers to such complex situations.

I'm hoping Jocko will see your question (he is a member). I will forward it to him anyway as I would also like his perspective on it. Until then, I'm hoping some of our other members will share their thoughts. You are in a tough situation. The only valid thought that I have is to engage in the political process (either directly or through supporting someone). I have a feeling you are not alone in your feelings and many of your countrymen are disgusted as well. Change is certainly on the horizon all over the world. Who would have ever imagined that Britain would get out of the EU. They didn't do it for business but for the immigration policy that ws being forced upon them. If Germany pulls out, the EU will be SCREWED!

I'm sure more thoughts will come as people digest the question.

I see some contradictions or difficulty with your question. Warrior is an experienced fighter, maker of war. War is the absence or interruption of society. So Warriors have no “place” in society.

Who does the warrior become in society? In society there are assimilated beliefs, values and behaviors. You say the values, beliefs, and behaviors of the society around you are insane. The question is: Can you exist in that society? Can you change that society? Identify the Values, Beliefs and Behaviors that you have issues with and answer those 2 questions. Use these to identify your place in society.

2. How to handle from a warriors perspective betrayal of the political, judicial and even military Leadership where confidence in any of them is completely wiped out and lost? Is it inevitable that this ends to be like a Ronin?



How do you handle loss of confidence in leadership? First, make your enemy you own weaknesses. Struggling with your own issues help build humility and empathy.

I am an engineer and I like to think in terms of carbon steel. As we live we get dents and dings. When steel is hammered, bent, stretched, or cold worked it get harder. This gives it more strength, but makes it more brittle. It becomes unable to bend, flex or yield. Then, steel must be annealed. Annealing is just heating it back up near its melting point, which releases the stored stress, softens and renews the elasticity.


1. How does a warrior exist in this society? Change society 2. How do you change leadership? Change yourself. Improving yourself, humility, empathy, discipline, strength, pursue knowledge. This will make you more attractive to other people. Learn what you can from every person you meet. Change those people by your example. It creates your own bubble in society. If it built on light it will grow. Beware the darkness.

thanks for your kind feedback. Yes there is an increasing number of people here who are disgusted but surely not enough and they are to much reluctant.
Well, I don't want to blame my countrymen as I understand this: if you go here for alternativ political parties the antifa (left paratroups) attacks physically very hard
or if you speak loud against dogmas like e.g. islamisation or against the political correctness crap you easily will be fired. Plus the growing number of attacks (better say slaughters)
with restricted self defense rights for the citizens beats them down. From a strategic point of view the driving power behind the scene is doing obviously a very clever warfare tactic:
The clinch gets tighter and tighter slowly. ( „python-strategy“...)
Yes, its a tough situation but sure enough not only for us and as you stated: change is certainly on the horizon all over the world. And my estimation is that the US are in deep waters too.
In Germany e.g. there is a hugh growing anti-americanism in populace (there always was us-bashing because of the very influential left press here) but in the blogs its growing more and more.
This is something I'm concerned about.

So hard times, yes.
But fighting means hard times otherwise you don't need to fight…


And thats why your thoughts and opinions about perversed/abused leadership vs diszipline are very worthwile to me and I appreciate your comments
(or maybe if you have some questions about the situation here in EU/Germany: just let me know.)

Very interesting to hear your thoughts, especially on the US. I was last in Germany 2007, and I did't feel the hate for US at that time. Of course, things weren't bad in Germany then.

I will say, I did feel some ill will towards the US when I traveled in New Zealand a few years prior. The funny thing is, when I had a beer with some of the locals at a pub, people spoke to me like I was running the country!

I live by the saying, "Love your Country, but question your Government."

With all that being said, what would you say the reason for the growing anti-American feeling?

Oh, your experience in New Zealand is very interesting because thats exactly what more and more people are blogging here in Germany (meaning not you but the US is running the country... :=) )
I think there are more than one reason for the growing anti-American feelings here. From my point of view one of the main reason for these growing anti-US feeling is a
geostrategical argumentation line which comes in many flavors and goes as follow (in short version) :


Germany obviously lost WWII and as a consequence west germany was in cold war time under US-occupation which was more a protection feeling.
After the downfall of the DDR wall the US (elites) doesn't need germany any more and America now, so the argumentation, has very strong interest to destroy
a possible German-Russian economical collaboration. And thats the reason why the US initiates a final europe breakdown. For this purpose America is using refugee waves which,
so the argumentation, was and is US-generated by war in afghanistan, iraq and syria (started for geostrategical purposes). These refugee waves then will be guided via several
NGOs (Sorros open border society etc.) and the UN into europe to completely destabilize the EU.
Obviously our own Government is supporting this (no border control etc.) and this is because we never have had a real own german government (they always were „US-puppet governments“).
Almost all of our politicians and german media workers (journalists, etc.) are members of US thinktanks and US-networks (atlantic-bridge etc.).
The conclusions and the justification from these arguments is, that the whole situation here in europe (or at least Germany) MUST be initiated by the US.


As more and more people here trying to understand whats happening in Europe the more are coming to the conclusions that this may be a valuable explanation
because it seems to explain a lot of things very smooth.

From my personal life experience I always doubt on simple black/white explanations where only one is the good guy and the other is the bad guy.
I mean: The russians, the chinese, the french... all of them have geostrategical aims but they never will be discussed that much and in depth as the US aims here in german blogs or media...
For me exists strong evidence that a globalist elite with very own aims exists but for me that doesn't necessarily mean that America as a whole is „globalists country“...

Additionally and unfortunately Facebook here in Germany is another bad example because of supporting unfreedom of speech.
That is, the german government has implemented a task force which suppresses unwanted facebook comments as „hatespeech“.
And to make this thing much even worse: the leader of this task force is a former SED Stasi informer women (Kahane).

So for most people here this is another sign of the „US-doublespeak“: War for freedom of speech but in reality suppression...

In blogs I always try to explain that facebook is a (more or less :=) )private company which means: your house your rule.
But for most people here facebooks equals US and that means: Small cause big effect...


Personally I think people here need and search more and more valid logical explanations (at least for them) whats going on here otherwise they fall into
cognitive dissonance because their daily reality is completely not understandable. But in such circumstances one can't live for a long time. I personally understand this:

I e.g. live in a city with two huge refugee asylums and one is in proximate neighborhood. One morning in September last year I walked out of my apartment went to main street and this
was like in a film: I thought I was dreaming because I it looked like I was standing in Beirut or Libanon town.
They didn't tell us anything about the planned arrival of refugees and in the beginning they brought them all in at night.
At some point you NEED some „logical“ explanations whats going on in your surrounding otherwise you go insane...


So this is a really compressed, dense (and for sure imperfectly) overview from my personal perception whats going on in many (sure not all) blogs in Germany.
These explanations combined with left media articels over years (almost all journals and newspapers and books over books were descriping America as a warmonger
because of oil, dollar and geostrategical purposes) are pushing more and more people in these anti-american think patterns.

I for myself never believed that the complete US is just one big warmonger (and all others are just US-victims) as mainstream media here for years tried to push to convince people.
So I decided to go for my own and luckily I found podcasts and interviews with people like Jocko, Echo, Tim Kennedy, Stefan Molnieux and others which help me to understand
that there is so much more than these official media sights. I also decided now, if possible, to blog with people (like in your blog) to find out and hear alternative sights.
So I'm very interested in your sights!

O.k. this was a little bit longer than I originally thought it would be but it is not easy to put it all in a concise short form. (And I only learned english in school many moons ago… :=) )

Your advice "Love your Country, but question your Government." is a very wise one!
And I feel free to add: and also question the media… :=))

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Also, thanks for not believing all the anti-american talk on the blogs! In all honesty, I'm a simple man, that just wants to raise my family in peace. I was raised in a farming/ranching community that taught me to work hard (oddly enough, I grew up in the same community as Tim Kennedy. I knew of Tim and his brother, but never hung out with them).

I also see many problems with our world. I control what I can and change what I can. Since the age of 18, I have served in the emergency services (fire/ems). I've been lucky to have promoted through the ranks, but have only recently decided to make positive change with myself and those around me. It seems to be working.

Thank you for the questions you've asked and the education you've giving me.
