I love the jocko idea of live tweeting listening to other podcasts. A bunch of great quotes. "Get in the Game and floss you teeth, People" "Knives and Surfboards. We roll deep."
Tim is excellent at talking to "Titans" and letting them talk about how smart they are. Then outing them on their hatred for Yoga or Tango. and the subtle hints that egg on Twitter annoyances.
Jocko methodology: Do burpees till you puke and then next time do one less. Tim methodology: Do half a burpee. Most of the time you will do more.

Jocko - I have some constructive feedback for you. One of your best Jockoisms is GET AFTER IT. Awesome, but then you are critical of some WAYS of getting after it - Acro yoga, meditation, etc. Why? Who cares about “how?” I respectfully suggest that you should just encourage “that.”
THANK YOU for doing the work you’re doing; I’ve gotten A LOT out of it so far. You’re like the big brother I never had, and I am GETTING AFTER IT like NEVER BEFORE, in part because of the time I spend listening to you.
See you in NYC May 4-5.

Not all getting after it is equal. I know I have done the Tequila or Scotch version of getting after it. Somethings get better the deeper you get, somethings get creepy the deeper you get. I know some people who have gone deep into the rabbit holes in religion, health, personal preparation, etc. Weight lifting, Jiu-Jitsu and Low carb have a bit of a sophomoric period but not too many life regrets.
That Being Said. . . . I will do a little warrior pose and headspace tonight.
PS. I am going to try to crash the workout at MUSTER 2. Hope to see you then, Life permitting.
