I have never really been one for discipline, but while listening to my first episode of this podcast, I felt some unknown force begin to influence me. I parked my car and began doing burpees in an empty Wendy's parking lot. It was 3 in the morning and when the cops rolled by to question my behavior I just shouted "I'M ON THE PATH" to which they nodded and replied "Get some!" before driving off.
Realizing it was late, I headed home to get some shut eye, but was up again at 04:30 to take a picture of my watch before hitting the kettlebells. I'd never worked out before, and my arms fell off later that day due to over exercise. "GOOD" I thought to myself, an opportunity to overcome. I sipped a Strawberry Slayer Mölk through a straw while I thought about my next move. Imagine my surprise when my arms began to tingle and grew back! Within the hour I was back in the gym chugging Jocko White Tea and deadlifting 9,000lbs.
I wanted to keep the momentum going, so I kept the podcast on in my headphones for the next 500 straight hours. Fueled by disciplined actions, my efficiency was at an all time high. Within the first week I'd already built and IPO'd my first company. Over the following 3 days I wrote my first NY Times bestseller, achieved my black belt in jiu jitsu, and learned how to knock over walls with my mind.
My overall experience with this podcast has been great, 9/10. I took away one point because there's not enough explosions, but I'm sure if you can overlook this small detail, you'll get a lot out of it too. Please do yourself a favor by listening and buy a "Discipline Equals Freedom" shirt so you can represent while you're on the path. Don't forget to grab some Jocko white tea while you're at it so you can also start deadlifting 9,000lbs.
