I’m new member, recently turned on to your podcasts. I’m viet nam vet, former army ssg e-6 , MP. I really enjoyed pods 180, 181 , 182 with tilt, John meyer. I volunteered at age 19. Currently listening to the draftee tanker podcast. Great stuff. Have you heard of “ macnamaras morons”? They were draftees with low IQ, that secdef macnamara insisted that the army could make useful soldiers. Also called macs boys, and other nicknames. There was an author that wrote about them, his name escapes me. Could you look into that story and possibly get an interview with someone that has some knowledge about that? It was a sad part of the history of the desperation of the DOD to get warm bodies into the fight. They suffered higher rates of casualties than the regular troops, obviously. Keep up the good work, would like to hear more interviews from nam vets, we are passing at alarming rate. Thanks, Thud

Ah yes, I see someone else stumbled on to the Podcast with the 3 "Volumes of Tilt" as their first listen too. I started all the way back at one, and am on 38 but listen to the new ones as they come out to keep up with current stuff.
