Hello
I have been listen to your podcasts, they are great. I understand you's like to review books from service man and woman with leadership qualities.
I have just finished reading the book (I would not step back). Its about an New Zealand Squadron leader Phillip Lamason who serviced with the RAF in WW2.
This guy saved the lives of 168 service man when they where sent to a German concentration camp instead of a POW camp. That 168 service man includes 82 U.S.A personnel.
Please have a look at what this man achieved, his leadership qualities are taught to the New Zealand SAS.
Keep up the great work.
Kind regards
Jason Johnstone

Thanks for that suggestion, Jason. Sounds like a challenging but worthwhile read. One of my heroes in Dietrich Bonhoeffer for his moral courage under such circumstances.
Have you read much about the British SAS? David Stirling is an interesting fellow.
