I have read Extreme Ownership several times now. While the book makes reference to helping leaders in the business world, all the points in the book are extremely relevant to fighting fire. Giving clear instructions and ensuring they are understood, keeping things simple, planning, etc... I have taken the information in this book and used it to help my crew and my divisions do their jobs better while making mine easier so I can focus more clearly on the big picture. Jockos books and podcasts have drastically changed the way my crew performs, thinks, and even eat and workout. I cant wait for the new book, I have it preordered already! Thanks Jocko!
