In my current position I do not have a team. How can I show leadership to the executives when I have no one to lead besides myself?

This is known as leading up the chain of command. This is another chapter of Extreme Ownership. Leading up the chain of command is a way to fill a leadership void or communicate how you want/need to be lead. When you interact with your superiors, ask them what they are looking at in regard to your performance or project performance. They will then explain that to you. You could turn that into a "report" on you or projects.
Also, never neglect leading yourself. Lead yourself to improve your health, finances, home life, etc.
