Music may have evolved beyond Henry Rollins' idea that every show is "the superbowl" but the idea that musicians should take their craft seriously has not. The modern age of youtube videos, however, brings us closer to many young musicians who may or may not be serious about their music and may or may not understand that we can't un-see their videos. Some leave us breathless, some leave us wondering "what the Hell was that?"
I offer the following for your consideration

if you like the Aaron O'keefe kids doing tool, then you'll love them doing Dream Theater
Just last year they did Tool's Sober.
But if you want something completely different, then we have leo moracchioli doing the only Kelly Clarkson song you'll ever catch me listening to.

I should mention that slayer is still together and rocking like always
that video is actually the prequel to this video
the older Tom Araya gets the more he looks like my dad.
If that's too heavy for you here's something so poppy and badly auto-tuned I'm amazed it doesn't have millions of views.

Aren't you guys from Texas supposed to listen to bluegrass or something! I find it odd that I'm the one from California, yet I'm the biggest hick on this forum... Yee Haw! -Admin

Blue grass is an Appalachian aberration. That Alison Krauss, Oh Brother Where Art Thou stuff. My dad's people came from back there and settled in Missouri after the civil war. Then the music changed. I prefer the Carolina Chocolate Drops myself.
But here in Texas they invented Western Swing Bob Wills and Kitty Wells style of music
skip ahead a couple decades and you've got willie and waylon and outlaw country with the
whoops. that's early willie
and that's much later willie. I've seen him a couple times; he's awesome.
the point of all this is that Texas music gave us the one thing that matters
