I have very dense muscles and whenever I run my thigh and calf muscles seem to fatigue very, very quickly. I drink plenty of water until I pee clear before and after I run. I've always had this problem even when I was playing soccer and lacrosse in college and while I was running just about every day in the military. It's continues to be highly frustrating. Has anyone else run into this who has suggestions on how to overcome this?
Thanks

2 possible solutions. Number 1 is you could try the mid foot landing technique of running. Google it.
The harder solution: Run slower to run faster. Start going on 40 minute sessions and keep your heart rate under 140bpm. If you are 200+ lbs like me, that might be a quick walk. After a few sessions your heart rate will slow down or your pace will increase. It will might take a month to get to a jog. You want to jog at a pace where your heart and lungs can keep up. If you are out running your lungs, you start getting lactic acid. This is the primary cause of soreness. if you want other sources, check primal fitness.

Essential minerals are not adequate could be a issue , even if your urine is clear doesn't mean your essential minerals are at proper levels.
Shoes could be a issue also.
