I recently discovered Jocko - the particulars are in my hello post. Anyways, I read the book and it really resonated with my own experiences in leadership. After consuming the book, I went on a Jocko listening binge. Here is what's funny - you can't binge on it. You just *can't.* I tried The material is too dense, with too many single statements, trains of thought and long arc themes which require time to ruminate on. This is a key indicator of quality. Lotta leadership/philosophy/motivational stuff is like potato chips - you slam it down, it feels good momentarily but leave with no deep shift in feelings of purpose/direction. This content is different. Love it.
